Melissa Russo, was born in Pennsylvania and raised in the suburbs of Philly, and has been performing since the age of Seven.
Melissa's parents, both professional Musicians, instilled a love of the performing arts in her at a very young age. She performed as a child at the Academy of Music in Philadelphia with the Pennsylvania Ballet and also toured with them at the Brooklyn Academy of Music before graduating from high school. Melissa later decided to pursue a career in acting, and studied under William Esper and Rochelle Oliver. Melissa was fortunate to work with the directors Gerald L. Orange, who is a member of the Actors Studio, and Nye Heron, Associate Producer of Academy Award nominated film “In America.” Some of her film credits include "Feral Autumn", "Trust the Man", and "Train Wreck: My Life As An Idiot." She is honored to be part of this film and talented ensemble.
